My husband is an officer in the U.S. Air Force and a military assignment brought us to Colorado Springs, Colorado. I received my Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Georgia. When we moved to Colorado Springs, I was an Assistant Professor at the U.S. Air Force Academy. I loved working there but once I had children, I wanted to stay home with them. We have two wonderful boys. After my children went to school, I wanted to find something to do outside the home that would allow me the flexibility to be there for my children and all their activities. I wanted to remain independent and do something where I could provide a high level of customer service, while having fun meeting and working with exceptional people.
